HOUSTON -- (04/02/08) “I Have a Dream” ® - Houston (IHAD), a long-term mentoring and drop-out prevention program for inner-city youth, honored BMC Software at 15th annual DreamMaker Gala “Spring Break ‘08”. The event, held Saturday, March 29, 2008, was held at Hotel ZaZa. The event also recognized IHAD’s “Leaders in Education,” Linda Lorelle and Dr. Abelardo Saavedra. “Leaders in Education” are those whose commitment to educational success has affected positive change in the Houston community.

The exciting event featured Mistress of Ceremonies KPRC Local 2’s Roseann Rogers and live auction with auctioneer Stephen C. Lewis.
The Spring Break theme was prevalent throughout the entire event. Destinations were Hawaii, Las Vegas, Mexico and Napa Valley. Each destination had a signature drink and food station as well as activity. Raffle ticket purchasers, at Hawaii, received a lei. Black Jack was played in Las Vegas and there was a wine toss in Napa Valley.
